Advertising Deadline: Monday by 4:00 p.m., except in the case of a holiday. If the deadline changes, prior notice will be published in the paper the week before. 

Birth announcements, engagements, weddings, and anniversaries are considered news and published free of charge, as space permits. 

Up to ten inches of space for an obituary is free, and obits longer than ten inches are charged only for the extra space.
